About the event
Abstract:
Welcome everyone to this panel on Women in Security. Today we will be discussing a critical issue that affects millions of women around the world: access to education and employment in conflict-affected countries. As we know, conflict not only disrupts the lives of millions of people but also exacerbates gender inequalities. Women are often disproportionately affected by conflict, and their access to education and employment is limited due to various factors, including cultural norms, social stigmas, and economic challenges. So, what can be done to ensure that women have equal access to education and employment opportunities in conflict-affected countries? What are some successful initiatives that have been implemented, and what challenges still need to be addressed? Let's hear from our distinguished panelists on this critical issue.
