CJ 402c: Tactics for Human Rights Protection

Rating is 0.0 out of five stars based on reviews

The Freedom of thought, conscience, and religion is the protection of an individual’s right to believe, or not believe, observe, worship, and teach what they choose. This does have some limitations in how individuals can practice their beliefs. The Prohibition of slavery and forced labor is the protection against the ownership of another human being. Servitude is similar to slavery - you might live on the person's premises, work for them and be unable to leave, but they don't own you. Forced labor means you are forced to do work that you have not agreed to, under the threat of punishment. And the Prohibition of Discrimination is the protection that any individual should be treated differently under the law on the basis of sex, religion, color, nationality, etc.
