CJ 402: Human Rights in Counter-Terrorism w/ Certificate

Beginning with the Declaration of Human Rights 1948 to the European Convention of Human Rights 1998 and beyond, students will analyze the human rights legislation and conventions. Through this course, students will discuss articles on human rights and their implications and correlation with international law and legal instruments. In addition, students will be able to discern the impact of terrorism on human rights and the role the government plays. 
 
The certificate program consists of several modules with associated readings, lectures, and assignments, and when all four certificates are completed you can take the test for the diploma program (2 of 4)
