CJ 403: Forensic Investigation in Terrorism

This course will discuss the history of criminal investigations and terrorism, victims of terrorism, and the best practices to support them. Students will identify police powers for investigating terrorism, including best practices for evidence gathering and procedures through different specialist investigating techniques. Students will also critically analyze the relationship between terrorism and the media, the psychology of terrorism, and offender profiling. 
 
The certificate program consists of several modules with associate readings, lectures, and assignments, and when all four certificates are completed you can take the test for the diploma program (3 of 4)
